Announcing The Big Show event!

18 March

The Big Show Announcement The Elevator Project Guelph blog

In a few short days (Tuesday March 25th, to be exact) The Elevator Project will be hosting an exciting event open to everyone in the¬†Guelph region. Located at Guelph’s performing arts venue River Run Centre, the Big Show will showcase 52 great ideas made to better the city of Guelph and the people living within it. Tickets cost $5.00 and all proceeds will be recycled back into the projects in an exciting live crowd funding format.

This really is a great opportunity for our 52 idea makers to interact with the public and possibly find investors, volunteer help, and ways to improve on their fantastic idea! We will also be learning more about our top 15 of our top recommended ideas and will be hearing more from some of our investors about the projects they plan on putting resources into.

This is surely an event you will not want to miss!

If you are interested in attending, tickets can be bought from the River Run Centre (located at 35 Woolwich Street) for $5.00 by calling their box office at 519-763-3000. The event will begin at 6:30 pm and end at 9:30 pm.

The River Run Centre is an ideal venue for the Big Show because it was created for the local community to enjoy musicals, dances, concerts, and much more.

River Run Centre is fully accessible for patrons. Their accessibility features include wheelchair accessible theatres and lobbies, lowered service counters at the box office and the bar, an elevator, automatic door openers and accessible washrooms.

Accessible seating is available in the Main Stage and also Co-operators Hall.

Booster Seats are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Service Animals are welcome in the facility.

Assistive Listening Devices are available free of charge at the Coat Check prior to the performance.

Accessible Parking is available in the nearby parking garages. There are also a limited number of accessible on-site parking spaces.

We hope to see you all there!
