Guelph Arts Platform Space

Lease a downtown storefront to initiate a community arts hub space where artists from different disciplines can work, rehearse, display and workshop together.

Eventually, we hope this small hub will develop out into different neighbourhoods and larger spaces as opportunities and revenues permit.

Our 2011 REOI process indicated a community demand for approx. 30,000 s.f. for use ranging from shared studio space, wet and dry workshops for hourly rentals, small rehearsal spaces, recording studio and small to mid size performance space.

Guelph Arts Platform seeks funding for the building assessment costs associated with leasing a start-up community space for our project.
