Some of our most enduring community stories come from kitchen tables. Families are drawn together, shape and are shaped by the availability, innovations and culture of local food. To capture Guelph’s food stories, we will create a community curated website of Guelph-Wellington recipes. This open archive will include photographs and stories. Seed recipes may also come from the University’s Canadian cookbook collection. After one year, recipes and stories will be curated into a smartphone app or e-book, and may be published as a print community cookbook. To make this happen, we need recipes and stories from Guelphites, funding for website development and foodies to help manage this project.
