Yorklands Green Hub

Environmental restoration, demonstration, and education centre on the old Guelph Correctional Center lands on York Road.

Features will include nature education, local enterprise, food forests, apiaries, community gardens, tiny houses, internships, jobs, recreation, arts, events, workshops, and more. Three pillars: sustainable Food production, wise Water use, and renewable Energy & living buildings. A hub for people learning to live in a better way – from Guelph, from Ontario, from across Canada.

An incorporated not-for-profit, we have gathered strong public and political support and are launching a major fundraising campaign to buy the land. We need dollars, connections, and dedicated volunteers.
