What is the idea*
Tell us in concise and simple terms what your idea is. If you have already started something and are looking for investment to take you to the next level, then describe the project/initiative as it looks now, and also how you want to develop it.
What social benefit will the idea bring to Guelph*
Describe the positive change you want to bring to Guelph. Why is your idea important? How do you know that the idea will bring the benefit you want?
Who is the target audience?*
Describe your target audience. Is your idea aimed at everyone in Guelph, a neighbourhood or a certain group of people? Tell us about the characteristics of your audience and why this idea is particularly relevant or appealing to them.
What is innovative about your idea?*
Highlight what makes this idea so special and innovative. Describe the features that stand out as unique, creative or new.
Who is involved and why are they the right people to take this forward?*
The Elevator Project won’t support individuals or for-profit business. Tell us the names of everyone involved. If it’s a group, partnership or organization, please tell us the name and nature of it. Is it an informal group or an incorporated entity?
What investment and revenue sources have you already secured?*
Include all the investments and revenue sources you have actually secured to date. These investments could be money or other things, like physical space, equipment or another in-kind resource. If you have revenue sources, include these.
What investments are you seeking?*
Include the investments that you are looking for from The Elevator Project, both the financial and in-kind things. The Elevator Project hopes to provide money + to great ideas. So if you need expert advice or mentorship, or whatever, let us know and we can help find it for you.

You also have a bonus chance to inspire us – if you want to. You can send us one extra thing that will convince us that this has to happen, right now in Guelph. Be creative. You can submit an image, link to a website, blog, graphic, poem, story, doodle, video, sketch, song, letter, 3D model – whatever you like. The only rule is that it must be easily viewable by the short-listers . So, if it’s too long (e.g. a novel), or too large (e.g. an enormous data file or a 10ft high art installation), we can’t consider it in the review of your idea.
