ArtAffect
Vincent VanGogh sold only one painting in his lifetime. He suffered from mental illness and used art as his outlet. If VanGogh was alive today, he might find himself on Baker Street: seeking a warm meal, housing support, clothing, and a space to create.
The Baker Street Gallery is a supportive, safe space for many struggling members of Guelph society. The ArtAffect group will build one year’s supply of canvases, supply paint, and hold an art auction in November. Proceeds will go directly to the artists and the gallery.
If you had a chance to provide VanGogh with canvases, would you?
