LEST WE FORGET is a mural 100 years in the making! This year is the 100th anniversary of the famous poem “In Flanders Field”, written in 1915 by Guelph soldier Major John McCrae. In recognition of the hundreds of Guelph soldiers who gave their lives and the hand-full of Veterans still with us we hope a mural will capture the poem but also recognize local veterans that are still with us today! But the best part is the sponsor of the mural would also be helping The Life Center to continue feeding 26,000 people, a project that brings local businesses closer to the community giving them a unique opportunity to help!
