Most of the Guelph area is covered by a responsible neighbourhood group. However, south end of Guelph has not been covered by a Neighbourhood group yet. The population size and business activity of South End Neighbourhood has dramatically increased. The community members are disconnected due to their busy lives. The community services have not grown at the same rate as population and business growth. SENG will create connection among community members, fill the service gaps by bringing the necessary community services within the community, serve as a primary community resource for the community members, engage community members in volunteer activity and promote community members' sense of belonging to the community.
